Bonna Yoon is a 17 year old Korean/Australian bassoonist, clarinettist and pianist studying under the guidance of bassoonist Matthew Wilkie and clarinettist Deborah de Graaff. A current student studying at Queenwood High School, she has received a music scholarship and participates in numerous musical items including orchestra, jazz band, chamber, and symphonic wind ensemble. She also participates in orchestra outside of school, including the SYO Flagship, AYO National Music Camp, and AYO Young Symphony. She has earned the AMEB LMUS certificate on the clarinet and bassoon, and she is presently pursuing her AMUS on the piano. Her most recent accomplishments include winning the Melbourne ADRS Competition, participating in a workshop with the London Symphony Orchestra, and collaborating with the Sydney Philharmonia choir and other SSO professional musicians to perform at the Sydney Opera House.
